MO-TI-VATE!

Dear future self,
  You are doing this for a reason. Remember?! You have too many excuses! "I sprained my ankle and it still hurts" (valid enough), "eating healthy is so expensive with picky kids" (pfft, you don't have to eat what they eat, quit being lazy), "what's the point? I'll just gain it back anyway" (defeating yourself, again?! look back on your list of what to do when you start thinking that way).  Quit with the EXCUSES!!! If anything, please just MOVE! The days you don't want to move...just get up and start moving. This is our future. I don't know about you, but I'd like to be able to take trips when I'm 50, 60, hell even 70 and 80 years old!!!
  Remember when you did Crossfit and lost a shit ton of weight but managed to injure yourself all the fucking time? TAKE IT EASY! Recall, it takes TIME to get in shape *cough* (again!). Push yourself, but don't push too hard that you hurt yourself. If you are doing a workout, hey...you are much better than you are today writing this blog. Lets list what we want to achieve from starting this, yeah?


  • healthier (no more breast pain, no more ovarian cysts, no more depression)
  • energy (self explanatory.)
  • shut up, you know you want to say "smaller waist line" we know it's true! Your husband will love you no matter what, but you gotta admit, being desirable is much more appealing (especially when you have the self confidence!) 
  • self control. "just one more cookie" or "just one more drinkypoo" nope nope nope! Learn to say no to yourself and realize it's OK TO HEAR 'NO'.
We can do this. One day at a time. Today you may need to read this and feel motivated again or you may roll your eyes at yourself for posting this. Either way, love yourself and accept who you are and that sometimes you need to hear these things from yourself.
